We are delighted to announce that our chosen charity for 2007 is The Primrose Hospice who are based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, UK.

Primrose Hospice offers care and support to adults living with cancer and other life threatening illness – not just to the patients themselves, but their families and carers too – in the communities of Redditch, Bromsgrove and the surrounding area.

In addition to the services offered at the Day Hospice, Primrose also provides palliative care through the in-patient unit, developed in partnership with the local Primary Care Trust at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital, Bromsgrove. This bedded facility is known as ‘Primrose at the Princess’ and consists of 6 bedrooms, a Day Room, Visitor Room and access to an enclosed garden.

To assist Primrose Hospice in continuing their excellent work, we will be donating £50.00 from each client project undertaken to the hospice. Each donation we make will enable one patient to be cared for in the bedded unit for 1 day. In addition we would encourage all our clients to consider donating their unwanted mobile telephones, and printer cartridge casings, as this will also assist the hospice in meeting the high costs of running their specialist facilities. We will be happy to collect these items during our onsite project visits throughout the year.
